Khao Yai Thien, situated close to Namtakhong resevoir in Nakhon Ratchasima province was home of the Thailand Enduro Series Round 4 in 2017. Khao Yai Thien is just 3 hours from Bangkok, easily reached via Highway 1 North East to Saraburi and Highway 2 which heads to Nakhon Ratchasima city. As you drive past the town of Pak Chong Namtakhong will be on the left side so from here you have to look out carefully for the small road which turns off on the right heading up the mountain where the trails are located. There are numerous popular resorts making it an ideal place to stay a night or 2.

Special Stage 4 combines some steep technical sections with some fast smooth sections as it runs parallel to the access road on the Western side of Khao Yai Thien. The trail starts just below the start of SS3 on the opposite side of the road but runs for twice the length with some great views of the valley below. There are a couple of obstacles on this trail such as small jumps and bridges to cross, parts of the trail run off camber adding another challenge to this fun track.
