This is a relatively short enduro ride with some double track, single track and road sections in the heart of Doi Inthanon national park.  The ride takes in some spectacular views, especially from the start / end point which makes for a fantastic camping area.   From the start there is a long downhill along dirt double track for several km before a series of undulating hills passing through small farms and remote villages before a grueling climb back to complete the route.

Whilst it is not worth venturing this far for this ride alone there is another spectacular route to the summit of a bluff with amazing views so its worth spending a couple of days in the area to explore either on foot or on bike, as well as visiting the more well known sights such as Kew Mae Pan, the summit of Doi Inthanon and the many waterfalls.

Once upon a time Doi Inthanon National Park had animals such as elephants, tigers and gaurs which have since been hunted to extinction.  Despite this other animals such as boars, deer and serows inhabit the National Park.  If you’re lucky you may hear gibbons calling early morning as well.
