Bangkok – Samui Tour

This cycling tour from Bangkok to Samui is for everyone who loves cycling.

Why not cycle to Koh Samui by Mtb (Trekking bike)? and take the small paths and see more about the real Thailand. The tour will take place in 10 days and 9 nights in 4 stars hotels in Bangkok and Koh Samui and 3- 4 stars on the stages, where a distance of +/- 225 km will be covered towards Bangkok to Koh Samui. The route will head south on flat roads along the sea of Thailand. Admire coconut palms, white sand beaches and clear waters and the most beautiful beaches in the world in Koh Samui.

It is a flat course, ideal for families with children 14 – 17 yrs and cyclists of average. The roads are maintained and goods are lined with fields of rice, pineapple and rubber plantations and palm orchard. The route will pass through small Thai villages where you can visit Buddhist temples, fisher villages, floating market and you will pass through tropical forest, national parks with beautiful waterfalls.

Program:

Day 1: Bangkok (D)

You will be welcomed at the hotel in Bangkok for a first meeting. You will be greeted with a cocktail, followed by a briefing when the conduct of the tour. Kirch Cycling Tours Thailand jersey will be given and the day will end with a dinner where everyone will learn more about themselves.

2nd day: Amphawa (B,L) The next day we cycle on MTB (Trekking Bike’s or Road Bike’s) to Amphawa on nice paths, on the evening we visit the biggest Floating market in Thailand.

Day 3: Phetchaburi -> Hua Hin (Flat) (B, L, D) Departure is in the morning by minibus to Phetchaburi. In Phetchaburi we visit a cave followed by a lunch at the sea then we leave for the second stage that will lead us in the direction of Hua-Hin. In the evening we visit a walking street market. The town of Hua-Hin is the closest Bangkok beach resort and is known for its varied cuisine from seafood.

4th day: Hua Hin -> Kuiburi (Flat) (B, L, D) In the morning you can relax in the hotel pool, after will be held the 3rd stage that will pass through a national park, rainforest, Prachuap Khiri Khan.

5th day: Kuiburi -> Baan Haad–Krut (Flat) (B, L, D)

The 4th stage we will pass through a national park with a waterfall where we will take our picnic lunch. Arrived at the town of Haad Baan Krut, the rest will be in bungalows along the beach under coconut trees.

6th day: Haad-baan-Krut -> Thung Wa Laen (B, L, D) After breakfast, we leave for Chumphon, on the way we visit a fisher village and will stop at the beach for our lunch and for take a swim.

7th day: Thung Wa Laen -> Chumphon (B, L, D) The course will take place along the coast with nice panoramic views and we will pass a small fisher village, there we have to carry our bikes on a boat for pass the river to the other side from the village.

This day you will enjoy the last dinner with you Tour Guide.

8th day: Koh Samui Early in the morning we bring you to the boat ferry it will take about 4 hours on the speed boat to Samui. The bikes will not join you to Samui, they will be driven back to Bangkok from Chumphon. In Samui we transfer you to your resort on Chaweng Beach where you can relax the rest of the day. Accomondation (B) for the last 2 days.

Important: in Koh Samui the Tour is unguided, your guide bring you to the ferry and a driver pick you up from the pier in Koh Samui and drive you to the hotel and the resort will organise the transfer to the airport. The time in Samui is your, a lot of Travel agent are in Samui if you would like to book a day tour.

9th day: Koh Samui (B) Enjoy all that Samui can offer you, go visiting waterfalls, go elephant riding, monkey school, take a massage or simply relax on the beach.

10th day: Fly to Bangkok and end off the tour (B) You will be transvered to the Koh Samui airport, the flight to Bangkok is not include, but we can help to find the best flight for you.
