Koh Phangan’s full moon and half moon party’s are well documented and attract thousands of people from around the world for the hedonistic experience on Haad Rin beach, however what many people don’t know is that Koh Phangan is home to a wide range of adventure sports, beautiful mountains and a vibrant coast. As Thailand’s 5th largest island and often overlooked as people head to the popular Koh Samui or Koh Tao, both of which are a short boat ride away. Along the way you will pass old growth forest and if you are lucky you may spot some wildlife such as macaques and monitor lizards plus an array of insects. Take plenty of water and insect repellent and enjoy the peace and quiet of this hike.
