About Luktupfah

Luktupfah was established in 1977 by an air force officer, group captain Surasak Mondaeng, who was vice president of the professional boxing association of Thailand as well as vice president of the world professional Muay Thai federation. Since this time the gym has produced many champions, including Kongnapha Luktupfah, Jowyaha Luktupfah and Fahpikart Luktupfah. Since its humble beginnings the legacy has continued and is now run by Grand Master Chinawut Sirisompan, president of the WMO and president of the World Muay-Boran federation as well as chairman of the Kru-Muay Thai association.

Chinawut Sirisompan (Grand Master Woody) was one of the first pioneers to bring Muay Thai to Europe, mainly in the UK, as well as countries in the UAE since 1975. Master Woody is the founder and co-founder of many Muay Thai associations around the world. He was the first to introduce Amateur Muay Thai internationally by organizing The Amateur World Championships in Bangkok in 1996 and every year since.

He was also the first to introduce Muay Thai Boran in to the West; setting up a curriculum with grand masters from Thailand, that is now recognised by Thai Government, Ministry of Sport and Tourism and Department of Physical Education. Master Woody has more than 30 years of experience conducting Muay Thai seminars all over the world.

Muay Thai training prices

Prices range from 400 THB per person for 1 session, 600 THB for 2 sessions, 3500 THB for 1 week and 9000 THB for 1 month. Accommodation is available starting at 1000 THB per night with no meals, to 28000 THB per month fully inclusive of 3 meals per day.

• Long term stay/training (Week or more) has to be paid on arrival.
• No Refunds (If student has to leave from long term paid training due to emergency only. Then missed training can be redeemed if he/she has left longer than one week, within 6 months).

All courses are recognized and certified by Kru Muaythai association, registered under the government department culture office since 2003.
