Snorkeling in Thailand

Snorkeling in Thailand is a great experience and is one of the most memorable Asian snorkeling sites.   Numerous islands, shallow reefs, diverse sea life and tropical weather- not to mention the crystal clear water- make it an exciting place from which to explore the underwater world. It is so easy to snorkel in Thailand. Most beaches will have equipment for hire, and it is usually cheap. You can also go on special half-day or full-day trips, often with a bite to eat and a drink included in the cost. And for those who are serious about wanting to explore the water and the islands, then why not try a liveaboard, providing food, a berth and equipment for a period of days or even weeks. Usually you will be joining a group of scuba divers on trips like these and so there is a good mix of people to hang out with.
