Catamaran Sailing in Thailand

Amara Watersports based in Jomtien, includes a catamaran sailing school providing sailing sailing lessons in the Gulf of Thailand in Naa Jomtien, about 20km south of the main beach of Pattaya offering visitors to this part of Thailand an alternative to the usual beach activities.

Amara specialise in teaching Beach Cat sailing from total first timers up to full competence single handed sailing of basic beach catamarans.

Boats used include the Hobie Wave Beach Catamaran and the Nakra Siroco Training Catamaran as both boats are extremely friendly and easy to manage.

Our location is both beautiful and Ideal. Located in the sheltered Gulf of Thailand just South of the tourist Mecca of Pattaya. The Beach where our sailing club is located is sandy with very few rocks to worry about.

The staff are trained for the Thailand South East Asian Games and have extensive experience in racing and in being coached by sailing experts from around the world.

This is an excellent Course to take before moving on to more expensive Yacht Sailing Courses.
