Cuttlebone Kitesurfing School in ThailandCuttlebone consist of a number of kitesurfing enthusiasts who discovered kiteboarding in 1999. Back then no tuition was available in Thailand, so the team had to learn the hard way! The Cuttlebone team followed the IKO instructor training course and upon completion decided to leave their everyday ‘normal’ jobs and become kitesurfing instructors full time and based their kiesurfing school in Pattaya. A second center was created in Koh Pangnan in 2004, to meet the growing demands for kitesurfing in Thailand. Since the beginning, we want to share our passion for kiteboarding not only with our friends but also with those who are keen to learn the sport of kiteboarding. Our approach of teaching is based on safety and includes fun and efficiency, total dedication to our students and obviously a huge amount of patience coupled to a great sense of humour. Our kiteboarding school in Pattaya and Koh Phangnan are not only centres to learn the sport but also a great place to meet new friends and take away memories for a lifetime. Our kitesurfing courses in Thailand will teach you everything you need to know to become an independent kitesurfer. Each course part is complete in itself, but you will need to go through the whole program to become independent. If your time is limited, you can do as much as you want and continue with us or elsewhere later on. Kite surfing is weather dependent and so conditions cannot be guarenteed of course, however Cuttlebone kiteboarding do not charge any customer if teaching conditions are not met, what ever the reason. Our courses can be given in English, French, Spanish, Dutch, German, Hebrew, Thai and Chinese. Each student get his own harness, impact vest and helmet, all being available in different sizes to cover all the existing body sizes. You also get your own kite and board, you do not share it with any one else. Our helmets are equipped with VHF radio to maximize the instructors' coaching efficiency.
